 Jodie Bonville is a licensed real estate salesperson, elementary teacher, author, certified personal trainer and nutritionist, and certified life and wellness coach who brings heart and purpose to everything she does. Born and raised in Peru, NY, Jodie is deeply connected to her community and passionate about helping others find a place to call home.

With over two decades of experience in the Peru Central School District, Jodie is dedicated to helping young people grow in and out of the classroom. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, followed by a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Literacy, and holds certification in school leadership.

As an educator, Jodie believes in modeling what she teaches. She brings learning to life for her students and promotes a genuine love of growth, creativity, and discovery by creating experiences and literature that inspire, encourage, and empower children.

She is also the founder of Authentic Soul, LLC, where she helps individuals live with intention and balance. As a licensed real estate professional, Jodie is known for her dedication to guiding others through life’s major milestones with care, clarity, and compassion.

Jodie is the author of "Journey to the Summit: Learning Life’s Peaks," a meaningful reflection on growth, resilience, and life’s challenges inspired by her love of hiking and her personal goal of completing the 46 High Peaks, and "Seeking Joy," a heartfelt collection that reminds readers to appreciate the small but meaningful moments in life. Inspired by her love of hiking, Jodie believes that every climb—whether on a mountain or in life—offers an opportunity to learn, grow, and become stronger. This message is at the heart of her storytelling. "Seeking Joy" and "Journey to the Summit: Learning Life’s Peaks" have both been honored with BookFest Awards, recognizing their uplifting messages and heartfelt impact—a reminder that even on difficult days, there is always something to be joyful about.

Deeply committed to her community, Jodie actively supports local initiatives that uplift and inspire others. She is proud to share her love of books, nature, and joyful living with readers of all ages.

Family is one of Jodie’s greatest blessings. She cherishes time with her two children and finds joy in creating lasting memories through travel, laughter, and shared adventures.
